he proportion of survival of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is improving with increased implementation of prompt bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and early defibrillation; however, the neurologically intact survival for patients of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest still remains low worldwide.
